Pressure Treated Trusses and Special Plates
At Best Truss we can also do pressure treated trusses. The
advantages of pressure treated trusses are excellent protection
against decay, fungus and termites.
The two different types (most commonly used for trusses) of pressure treated lumber is A.C.Q. and Borate Protected Lumber. (Click below for more Info and Advantages).

In combination with pressure treated lumber
special plates must be used. The most common plates with
pressure treated lumber that we use are Mitek G185 which are
specially made for pressure treated trusses.
We can also use stainless steel plates also made by Mitek for special applications such as pressure treated trusses or exposed trusses. These are highly corrosive resistant.
